Well dear friends, I am getting ready to spend my last night in the great country of USA. I have everything packed and am ready to be leaving on a jet plane!! The feeling is still surreal, but I think I am pretty sure that once I see myself flying over the ocean, I will realize that this is for real! I am still super excited and am ready for new experiences.
So, if you are still wondering or not sure what I will be doing, then this next section is for you! I am venturing off to a once in a lifetime opportunity for 3 1/2 months in the country of Dominican Republic. I am conducting my student teaching in the DR with a private school called, Doulous Discovery School. I will be there until November 15th and during that time I will be teaching 6th-8th grade math. I will be there with 2 other girls through A&M, Leah and Melinda (these names I will probably mention alot in the blogs). We will all live in the same house with a hostess named, Maria (doesn't that sound very DR ish?). I am really excited about living with her, because I will be able to pick up on my Spanish and hopefully perfect it by the time I get back. Comprende? Beuno.
Well, I am now going to go buy last minute things and get everything packed and then hopefully in bed by 9pm!! Yall know me and my sleep habits, I must get my 14 hours rest or I will be worthless. I love yall and don't worry, pictures and more posts will come starting tomorrow with my official landing in the DR!!! Buenos noches...aka goodnight!
